Sports Sponsorships
The Electrical Alliance is continuing its sponsorship of Washington’s MLS soccer team—D.C. United. The sponsorship includes print ads in the official match day program FREEKICK; radio spots on Radio America WACA 1540 AM, Radio Universal WKDV 1460 AM, Union Radio WYSK 1350 AM & WLXE 1600 AM, and spots on weekly talk show: La Tribuna del D.C. United on Radio Continental 1390 AM WZHF; public address announcements during home matches; a field board; electronic scoreboard logo; logo on www.dcunited.com; and associate sponsorship of Copa DC X—a two day tournament held at Rockville Sportsplex.

Promotional Ads
A new print ad campaign entitled "Contractor" has been launched in 2010. The ad promotes the skill set, exceptional training, and cost effective benefits of hiring Electrical Alliance electrical contractors. Ads will appear in DCBIA Pipeline, PMA Directory, Virginia Business, WBC Bulletin, Washington Business Journal, and ONSITE Magazine.

There will also be an online campaign using the new "Contractor" creative. Banner ads will be posted on washingtonbusinessjournal.com, midatlantic.construction.com, and Bisnow Real Estate.

Recruitment Ads
Thirty and sixty-second radio commercials promoting the advantages of applying for the Electrical Alliance’s apprenticeship program can be heard in English on 95.5 FM WPGC and 99.5 FM WIHT. Similar Spanish radio commercials can be heard on 99.1 FM WLZL and during D.C. United soccer games on Radio America WACA 1540 AM, Radio Universal WKDV 1460 AM, Union Radio WYSK 1350 AM & WLXE 1600 AM, and spots on weekly talk show: La Tribuna del D.C. United on Radio Continental 1390 AM WZHF.

Accompanying the radio commercials will be online recruitment banner ads posted on in English on 95.5 FM WPGC and 99.5 FM WITH, and in Spanish on 99.1 FM WLZL.

Print recruitment ads promoting the advantages of applying for the Electrical Alliance’s apprenticeship program will appear in the Employment Guide, RU Ready, and High School Graduate. Print ads are also a part of the Electrical Alliance’s sports team sponsorships, and will appear during D.C. United’s games in its Freekick game day program.
